If you are not really into the plain walls and dull atmosphere of a traditional library and would much rather explore a modern take on the conventional library then The reading room is the place to check out.
This library cum cafe fulfills the dreams of those who have always dreamt of eating in a library!
Founded by Richard Oh, a writer and film director in Indonesia, this cafe’s walls are filled with shelves containing books from Oh’s personal collection. Patrons are free to browse through them and pick whatever they feel like reading.
If the book is so good that you want to bring it back as yours, you can do so by purchasing it at a discounted price. And of course, they have a great range of food and coffee to fill your stomach for that extra energy boost.
Although they have comfortable tables and seats to do your work, it is good to note that the atmosphere is a little dim and might not be suitable for some.

4.Three Folks Coffee
“I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream”. Yup, you read that right, at Three Folks Coffee, you will be able to enjoy ice cream while doing your work.
Everyone knows that nothing appeases the mind and soul like a nice cup of ice cream. At this cafe they specialise in artisanal ice cream that comes in a great variety of unique flavours like Black Citrus and Whisky Coco Berry.
In addition to ice cream, they also serve great quality home brewed coffee and hearty meals.
Their multi storey interior is spacious and can host up to 50 customers, so you will not have to worry about finding a seat.
This cafe is Japanese inspired and stepping inside will transport you all the way to modern Japan. There are also different types of seats that you can choose from. They have traditional Japanese floor stools, lounge chairs, window stool seating, whatever that floats your boat!
